EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED WITH 86 PLATES AND VIEWS (20 in color including a portrait of Benjamin Franklin), and an original vellum document signed by Campan. 20th century blue morocco gilt with single arabesque frame with black morocco inlay within gilt frame, three fleur-de-lis devices gilt at center, spines in 6 compartments with 5 raised bands, gilt-lettering in 3, others with identical designs as covers, all edges gilt, stamp-signed by Bayntun (spines sunned). Provenance: Paul E. Bechet (blue morocco bookplate gilt).
